"When I think back to my time working you, the first thing that came to mind was that SBM Leadership exercise with the three pipe cleaners. One represented us, one represented a great leader, and one represented a not-so-great leader. Yours was, and still is, my “great leader” pipe cleaner. And it sits on my desk to this day. You had a way of challenging me to think differently while also giving me the space to challenge the status quo myself. Looking back, that’s probably one of the greatest gifts you gave me. You never expected me to think exactly like you. You expected me to think. Period. Over nearly a decade, you made me a better marketer, a better businessperson, and, more importantly, a better leader. I still find myself asking, “How would Vicky handle this?” more often than you’d probably believe. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and occasionally reminding me that the best ideas usually come after we’ve argued about them a little, and maybe just a few swear words. Those conversations shaped my career more than you know. Now enjoy Florida to its fullest extent. You’ve more than earned mornings that don’t start with meetings, afternoons without emails, and the freedom to do whatever the hell you want. Congratulations, Vicky! Thank you for leaving so many of us better than you found us."

"Congratulations Vicky on an incredible career and the positive impact on so many! You were my first agency I worked with in my first role at Schwans. I learned the value, importance and power in having a true partner in the agency you work with. I took that lesson and carry it with me still today. I am grateful we have stayed in touch throughout the years. That is something you are so good at and I truly admire about you. After each new role I took, I enjoyed connecting with you and learning from you and passing business your way. I always knew you had put together a winning team and brands/clients would be lucky to work with Pathfinders. I wish you all the best in your next chapter. "Congratulations Vicki! What a career you have had! As demonstrated in the video you have touched so many lives, both in a personal as well as professional way. As our agency you were always an amazing partner who listened, gave great input and delivered what was promised. But more importantly over these last 10 years or so we've remained in touch and you've become not just a work colleague but a friend. I recall sharing several really great conversations when we worked together about family, raising children and life challenges, but I've also enjoyed the emails we've exchanged over the years with topics ranging from health and fitness, aging, family struggles and of course specifically about our milestones at Orange Theory!!! I wish you ALL the best in this next chapter. I know you will fill it with all kinds of interesting adventures and projects. Best of luck! This is not goodbye, just "see you later". Please stay in touch!"

"Vic, That twenty four years went by in a blink! Just curious…are you in Cincinnati? 😊 And to think that I had to convince Steve to hire you. 😉 You are a true pioneer of the industry, there weren’t many female leaders when you started forty years ago. To watch you from your Ash Ad. days until now, has been very impressive journey to say the least. All while balancing a family with a crazy schedule of our own. There couldn’t be a better role model for Sarah and Syd than you. I wish everyone in the workforce would have an opportunity to work for someone like you, a true leader. You lead with integrity, passion and knowledge...not to mention an occasional well timed “F bomb”!! You’ve always put everyone else first, sometimes to a fault. Now we get you all to ourselves, and get to put you first! I can’t wait to go on those “crazy paced” walks with you, let you in on mine and Sarah’s “bike gang”, be your chauffeur over the Skyway bridge, be your chef, pool boy, and most importantly, your wine server with a chilled glass, whenever you’re ready! Love ya girl ❤️"

"It been such a pleasure to work with you over the last year plus. You were always someone I could count on. What always stood out to me was your authenticity. You genuinely cared about your customers and the people you worked with, and that showed in everything you did. In a world where that's not always common, it made a real difference. But what I'll appreciate most is that somewhere along the way, our supplier relationship turned into a friendship. I am grateful for all of the conversations, support, and laughs we've shared. You've made a lasting impact on so many people, myself included, and you will certainly be missed. I'm excited for you as you begin this next chapter and get to enjoy life on your own schedule. "Aunt Vic, Congratulations on your retirement! You have been one of my biggest role models throughout my life. I still remember calling you to help me study my spelling words, and then calling you again to tell you when I got a 100. Those are memories I’ll always cherish. Now that you’re retiring, I might have to start calling you for help with my business classes in college! Whenever people ask me why I chose to study marketing, my answer is always you. Seeing everything you have accomplished throughout your career has inspired me to follow in your footsteps. Another memory I love is visiting the Pathfinders office and thinking how cool it was and now look I’m pursuing a degree in marketing. "HIIIII VICCCC! It's hard to think about Pathfinders without thinking about you. When I started at PF as an intern, I had no idea how much of an impact you would have on my life and career. Looking back, it's impossible to separate so much of my professional growth from the opportunities, trust, guidance, and encouragement you gave me along the way. You took a chance on me early. You trusted me with clients that you had known for years. You gave me room to learn, room to fail, and room to figure things out. Most importantly, you believed in me before I had fully learned to believe in myself. What I learned from you goes far beyond marketing. Yes, you taught me how to think strategically, how to approach things, and how to become a better marketer. But you also taught me how to navigate challenges, how to keep perspective when things got stressful, and how to remember that this business is supposed to be fun. There are very few people who leave fingerprints on both your career and your life. You're one of those people for me. :) Thank you for the lessons, the trust, the opportunities, the laughs, and the friendship. Thank you for helping shape the marketer, leader, husband, and person I've become. Congratulations on an incredible career and a well-earned retirement. Pathfinders won't be the same without you, but your impact will continue through the countless people you've influenced over the years. I'm certainly one of them. LOVE, RYBO!!"

"Congrats, Vicky! It’s crazy to think how far my life has come, in no small part because of the trust you and Steve bestowed upon me in our early partnership. For over 15 years you have exemplified for me what a true leader is. You are kind, yet firm. You are compassionate, yet demanding. You expect the best from people but also are there to provide clarity, humility, and teaching moments. And you always made the time for me and welcomed me with a hug and a smile, despite your full schedule. Thank you so much for everything you’ve taught me and for your friendship."

Not only was Vicky the President of Pathfinders, one of our agency partners, but she did it with such grace, kindness, and excellence. As someone who only occasionally gets a peek behind the Pathfinders curtain, what I’ve seen is someone who passionately invests into everyone in their life. Whether it’s coworkers, clients, family, or friends (they usually end up as a mix of those terms for reasons I’m about to outline), they get 110% effort in the most thoughtful and compassionate way. You are diligent and dedicated in ways we all strive to match. You set the bar incredibly high—and that's why I kept you on speed dial as you moved to new organizations and then landed at Pathfinders, even as I changed organizations myself. You may have thought you were following me, but the truth is I had already learned what great looked like, and I wasn't about to let it go. Plus you became one of my favorite people on the planet! We’ve come a long way from me crying in your office as an Account Coordinator over a BAI mistake (whoops) to becoming a duo on client touch bases, RFP responses, and immersion sessions. I’m incredibly grateful for how much our dynamic has evolved and for the trust you placed in me along the way. Your tenacity, determination, and grit are a huge part of why I look up to you so much. You taught me that the things that seem “impossible” are usually the things most worth tackling. You also showed me that responsiveness, remembering the little things about people, and showing up when it matters are what truly make someone exceptional in this business. Most importantly, you set the example that you really can have it all – being a terrific leader, a great wife and mom, and a remarkable professional. I’m so thankful our relationship has grown beyond just President and Coordinator and from a coworker to a friend. Writing this makes your retirement feel very real, but I take solace in knowing you're retiring, not disappearing! Now go enjoy the sun, shop till you drop, and have a glass of wine for me. You’ve earned it more than anyone. :)"

"Vicky, thank you for all of your guidance, support, and leadership throughout the years. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without your mentorship and the confidence you’ve instilled in me along the way. I’ll always look back fondly on the fun accounts and memories we shared – from working on First together to our road trip to Cincinnati. Beyond the work itself, I’ve always appreciated your dedication, perspective, and the way you genuinely cared about the people around you. Wishing you nothing but the very best in this next chapter. You have more than earned the opportunity to relax and enjoy retirement! You’ll be greatly missed, and I’m so grateful for everything you’ve done for me and the team. Congratulations, Vicky!"

"Vicky, many people say they love what they do and have a passion for their career, but few authentically mean it and live it the way you do. I honestly believe that at no point did you ever consider your career a job or work, because you loved it that much. You showed up every single day, and nothing—health issues, weather, an economic recession, or even a global pandemic—prevented you from doing what you enjoy and setting the standard for what it means to be a Pathfinder. Thank you for everything you’ve done to make this a great and stable place to come to and build a career. Your impact will be felt at Pathfinders for years to come, and in some ways, your shoes will never truly be filled. Congratulations on a well-deserved retirement. I hope you enjoy this next part of the journey as much as you loved being a Pathfinder."

"Vicky, you’ve had an incredible journey at Pathfinders and will leave a long-lasting impact on so many people. One thing I’ll never forget is how accessible you made yourself to anyone who needed guidance, advice, or just someone to bounce ideas off of. I wish you the best on your next adventure— congratulations!"

"I feel lucky to have benefited from your steady leadership during my time at Pathfinders. Your passion for what you do was felt throughout the agency, which in turn, inspired and pushed all of us to do our best work. Beyond being an exceptional leader, you consistently demonstrated how much you cared by showing up with 50 Shamrock Shakes after a hectic day, or by personally reaching out with kind words and advice when someone was struggling with work or big life events. I just can't thank you enough for your hand in making Pathfinders a place I look forward to coming back to on Monday mornings. Congrats, Vicky!"

"Your dedication and attention to building client relationships and nurturing them over the years is the best I have ever seen. Witnessing your small acts of kindness and helping you to make them tangible has been a joy....And, thanks for keeping me on my toes!! When out of the blue I’d get a message from you, there was always a moment’s pause followed by a hard swallow because, A. I knew you were going to ask for something that was super timely, and B. Chances are it had the potential to be a challenge. 😜 Thank you for trusting me to meet those challenges and to “flawlessly execute” them on your behalf. Selfishly, I will miss not being able to fulfill my planned Vicky “Spirit Week” transformation (that’s right, you were going to be next 😆). Sadly the curated Amazon cart full of tights, eye glasses, the perfect pixie wig and multiple other Vicky style staples that’s been filled for months will go unpurchased. Whoever coined the phrase “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” was onto something. 😊 To say congratulations, and best wishes is a given. I share many of the sentiments that have been so eloquently expressed by others here. Let me just add this: Thank you for 24 years of leadership and setting an example of grace under pressure every single day. You will be missed more than any of us realize."

"Wishing you all the best in retirement! One thing I’ll always remember was during my very first week at Pathfinders when you reached out and invited me to coffee. That small gesture meant a lot and immediately showed me how kind and genuine you are, especially coming from the company's president. I’ve never forgotten it. Thank you for the impact you’ve had on so many of us!"

"Vicky (AKA mom) has been the single greatest influence in both my life and my career. As a VIP at Pathfinders, she has shaped not only the organization’s direction but also the way I see the world. Everything I know about leadership, resilience, and integrity comes from watching her lead with purpose and heart. She has always been my biggest inspiration. Someone who sets the standard not just through words, but through action. I once penned a letter as a child stating that one day I wanted to grow up to be the president of Pathfinders, just like her. While my path has taken its own course, that dream speaks to the lasting impact she’s had on me."

"Well, I gotta say… I’m both sad and happy. Sad that I won’t get any more knowledge drops from you during the typical day-to-day interactions around here. Sad that you won’t be on calls with us, providing perspective and building relationships internally and externally. Sad that we won’t get to benefit from your tenacious personality and connection-gathering expertise anymore. But happy — happy for you to slow down a little, enjoy the sunshine, take in the sunsets, and actually relax for once. And, selfishly, happy that I no longer have to constantly look over my shoulder in fear that VH is there watching and waiting 😂 Oh, and also sad that I can’t pillage your candy jar anymore. Even though that technically ended when you moved to Florida, it’s all really hitting now. Congrats, Vicky! I’m genuinely going to miss you a lot. But also … I might just hit you up when I’m in Florida so I have a place to stay! Lol."

"I first had the opportunity to know you when I was on the client side, working with Pathfinders. I still remember how you made us feel like we were the only client that mattered. You were incredibly warm and welcoming, but what stood out just as much was the knowledge and confidence you brought to every conversation. Every meeting with you felt meaningful. Now, I’ve had the privilege of calling you a colleague, even if only for a short time. Thank you for the kindness you’ve shown me, for the example you’ve set, and for letting me know that Pathfinders had an open position. That small moment helped lead me to where I am today. Wishing you nothing but the best in this next chapter. Your impact will be felt for a long time to come."

"Congratulations on an incredible 24 years with Pathfinders. That kind of dedication speaks volumes about the impact you’ve made and the relationships you’ve built along the way. While I only had the chance to work with you briefly, I truly wish we’d had more time together. It’s clear that your presence has meant a great deal to so many. Wishing you all the joy, relaxation, and new adventures that retirement brings. You’ve certainly earned it. Enjoy every minute."

"You’re just retiring, not dying, so I have to make sure this doesn’t sound like a funeral parlor digital memorial. Speaking of dying, remember when your boob tried to kill you, but you ripped it off with your bare hands, set it on fire, then kept on working? That’s the day you proved that you truly live your motto: “Never stop, never stopping.” Seriously, we’ve been through a lot in our 20+ years together. You taught me to never trust anyone who asks, “Do you want to have lunch at Salsa’s?” You also taught me that one loyal friend is worth 1,000 relatives. Thank you for being my loyal friend, trusted mentor, and supportive life coach. Congratulations on your retirement, and remember that you cannot fail this! So please relax for once and do the things you love. You know, drinking wine, speed walking the big hill, and shopping for chunky androgynous shoes."

"Vicky, My memory of meeting you for the first time at Summit, your outfit (and lipstick color) made an immediate impression. In that moment, I remember thinking, THIS is what confidence looks like. You have a presence that draws people in: strong, stylish, and completely Vicky! It’s been such a joy getting to know you and learn from you. Wishing you the most amazing and well-deserved retirement!"

"There are so many memories we’ve built over the years, road trips I was always glad to drive, long conversations, and all the highs and lows we navigated side by side. Through it all, your leadership and vision carried us from the uncertainty of a pandemic to the lighter moments, like a hungover colleague, with steadiness and purpose. Most people know you as the fierce competitor. I’ve been lucky enough to know so much more: your kindness, your compassion, your curiosity, and yes, your unmatched vocabulary of expletives. Those layers made our connection something rare, something I genuinely cherish. People like you don’t come along often. Thank you for everything you’ve given to Pathfinders, but even more, thank you for what you’ve given to me. It’s hard to put into words how much I appreciate our partnership and the role you’ve played in some of the best work of my career. I’m truly happy for you as you step into retirement. Your impact on Pathfinders and on me won’t fade anytime soon. It’s a legacy that will last."

"Wishing you rest and relaxation equal to the amount of time and energy you put into Pathfinders. It's been incredible watching you work. learning from you, and hearing from others about your amazing knack for building relationships and determination to always go, grow, and go bigger. Biggest 2 takeaways for me: you CAN be more than one thing at once—wife, mom, and career builder—and you keep choosing growth by living out your “I either win or learn” mindset. Truly an inspiration. Congratulations on an inspiring career and a very well-earned retirement, Vicky!"

"You will be missed beyond words. I thought I'd capture a few memories just for fun. When we landed in Kansas City and the person next to you did NOT have a great flight. Showing up at your house on Glendale to head to the airport or drive out of town. Driving to Rolling Meadows back in the day and while leaving, wondering what the heck we just committed to. Also, being the ONLY people in that giant building for many meetings. Our post-meeting movie adventures. Our post-meeting calls back to the office to see if anyone needed to talk to us. Our post-meeting "ratings" based on how well it went. When I took you out to lunch to pitch me becoming a remote employee in Pittsburgh, and your response was, "When do you move?" I can't thank you enough for everything you did for me!! You are truly one of a kind, and I am so lucky to have spent my career alongside you."
