On a sunny Saturday this summer, 22 Pathfinders assembled at the Potawatomi Zoo with their sneakers and stamina to Race for the Cure with Komen of Northern Indiana. “#TeamPathfinders” was fortunate enough to raise over $2,300 with the help of friends, family, colleagues, and community members!
- Susan G. Komen of Northern Indiana is proud to tell you that 75% of the money raised, stays right here in northern Indiana to fund education and awareness programs for breast cancer, as well as to help with the cost of mammograms for some women in our area.
- Additionally, 25% of the money raised funds ground-breaking, scientific breast cancer to find a cure!
- Since 2007, Susan G. Komen of Northern Indiana has distributed over $880,000 in its 27-county Affiliate service area in form of grants to organizations joining us in the fight against breast cancer.
- Also since 2007, Susan G. Komen of Northern Indiana has invested more than $311,000 in research to find a cure!
