PF Peeps: Acquaint Yourself With Zack

By Pathfind, April 13, 2018 // Inside PF

[About a 4 MIN read]

With Zack Nemeth on our PF team, we have “Sunshine on a Cloudy Day!” Zack knows how to bring on the happiness no matter what challenges each day brings. He is a great mix of polite and fun while still focusing on what needs to happen in the workplace every day.

We know you will enjoy reading about Zack and getting a chance to see things from a very positive perspective.  He understands how to learn from critiques and others’ strengths.  This special attitude is quite contagious and something we PFers look forward to learning from each day.

Motto

Everything that happens to me is the best possible thing that can happen.

At Work

What have you learned from working with a client?

How important attention to detail really is!

Each client has individual needs and needs to communicate to their own clients’ needs and interests.  My growth area here was getting under the hood for each client to assess what kinds of communication would be the most effective.  I enjoy the up-to-date interests and changes that go along with this approach.  If you would like to see what I am talking about, take a look at what we are doing with Boxed Water’s Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/boxedwater/

What is the trait you most admire in your co- workers?

A sense of humor.

Best employee event ever?

It was our internal Pathfinder Christmas Winter Olympics which was our way of welcoming the Holidays.  I was officially the Unofficial Game Show Host.

What do you like best about your occupation?

I love being surrounded by bright, creative marketing professionals. My coworkers are people I look up to and who I am striving to become professionally.  All Pathfinders go above and beyond by doing more than what our clients ask us for/to do.

What quality do you strive to instill in your clients?

Trust!  Above all, I want to inspire trust that we PFers will consistently produce the most creative strategies that will make our clients’ organizations thrive!

At Play

What is your favorite book?

I would have to say it is Living Out Loud by Craig Sager. I love this read because I grew up admiring Craig Sager for his up-beat personality, amazing work ethic and, of course, his unique swagger!

What is your favorite media?

You can always find me on Reddit.  If you don’t know, it is a social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. Users of Reddit submit content to the site such as links, text posts, and images/videos, which are then voted up or down by other members of the site.

Favorite after work activity?

There are two!  The first on the list is beating Dalton Lemert, Cam Slauter, Sam Lewis, and the ranking champion Drew Turner in ping pong. The second has to do with eating because I am a huge foodie.  I love cooking and trying new bars/restaurants in the area!

What is your favorite series?

I like intrigue and adventure, so Game of Thrones and any murder/mystery show ever created are my go-to favorites.

What is your favorite weather?

Something about a dismal, rainy day makes me light up inside.

You may not know…

Have you lived in many places besides the South Bend/Mishawaka area?

Well, I moved a total of 6 times in 2017.  I started my journey in Orlando, Florida; then to Indianapolis, Indiana; next to Fort Myers, Florida; returning to South Bend, Indiana (Yes, I see the pattern as well!).  I then experienced Edwardsburg, Michigan, before moving back to South Bend, Indiana.  After beginning my career at Pathfinders, I am now in Mishawaka, Indiana, and am staying put for a while.

What location in the office do you find the most conducive to do your best?

I tend to float around the office. You can find me sitting in the kitchen posting to social media or on one of the couches doing monthly analytics. It is possible to have multiple desks with our versatile workspace!

Favorite tools to get you inspired?

A cup of coffee and a great Spotify playlist can help me conquer the world.

Outdoor activities?

I love to contribute to my local Golf Courses by playing at least 2 rounds a week!
