What has caused you to grow the most at Pathfinders?
It is diving headfirst into learning about a new client until I feel like I am an expert. Applying those learnings, even when the answer isn’t clear-cut, has caused me to grow professionally. Having an inspiring leadership team to learn from has also been a huge factor.
What is special about working in an Advertising and Marketing agency in Mishawaka?
Oh, it is so great! Mishawaka feels like my hometown, and I get to work with super smart people in a collaborative environment. Win-win!
Most fun activity or project with Pathfinders team?
I really love working on anything with Boxed Water’s social media accounts. We can tap into such an engaged and involved audience and the company’s commitment to sustainability gives the “fun” a strong purpose.
What is the trait you most admire in your co-workers?
Tenacity! Every single person I get to work with has the determination to overcome any obstacle and get the job done. I love it.
Perfect happiness in the workplace?
Being challenged, working with a strong team, and some sunshine!
I really love “A League of Their Own.” There is something about a strong female cast that resonates with me. I think it is because my mom and three older sisters are equally admirable, funny, and determined.
Light blue – the ocean, a crisp sky, most of my wardrobe…yep, that covers it!
What is your greatest talent?
I try to stay cool as a cucumber when things get crazy or overwhelming.
Matilda by Roald Dahl is my all-time favorite book. It is about a little girl with superpowers, and was one of the first books I read. She’s spunky and smart…two traits you can’t argue with. I’ve recently read All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. It was recommended to me by a friend, and it is pretty captivating!
Favorite after work activity?
Walking our dog Kobe and making dinner with my husband are the highlights of my after-work life.

Interesting employment before arriving at Pathfinders?
My first job in high school was reciting historical information at a museum village where I wore an old-time dress and bonnet. I’d love to share photos, but the bonnet is probably too much.
Recent life changing events?
I married Preston in July. We met in college, and he’s now a police officer in the area. We love fixing up our house and re-watching our wedding video footage a thousand times a week, all while enjoying newlywed life!
Favorite hero of fiction?
Katniss Everdeen because of her fierce attitude and loyalty to family and friends.
I used to teach kickboxing! If you want to learn a few moves, let me know.
Our dog, Kobe, is my favorite animal. Just look at this photo!
A positive “I-can-do-it” attitude is everything. When I was little, my dad used to tell me to say to myself, “I can do it, I can do it, I can do it!” and it still plays in my brain.
